Yesterday was a good mail day. Sweet Amy Alford sent me a card so that my PO Box mailbox would not be empty and forlorn. Thank you, Amy. I love the Irish Lass. I miss your happy face walking into my store!
I also received a lovely cad and note from Priya all the way from India. Priya tells me that she is a regular reader and also did not want me to feel deserted by my mail friends. She included some really sparkly and lovely trim from her country. The photo does not do justice to the loveliness of the trim. I am so touched that these ladies took the time just to make me feel good.
Then today, the postal ladies were excited to hand me a lovely package from Tracy. Tracy has a wonderful way with words. She left a great comment yesterday about the woods after my post. She also has quite the imagination. You will want to visit her blog.
Tracy sent me some of her favorite products that she has blogged about on her own site, Coffee, Chocolate, Biodegradable kitchen bags. Hmm...that last sentence just reminded me of one of my favorite sayings: Coffee, Chocolate, Men...Some things are just better RICH. We haven't tried the coffee or the bags, but the chocolate was opened and almost consumed by John before I had a chance to take the photo!
Thank you so much to all three ladies. You all rock!
Random Remarks:
So many of you asked what kind of golf balls John was using to practice in the snow. Why snowballs, of course! Actually he was just practicing his swing and was not using balls at all.
I appreciate all the thoughtful comments on the Made in China topic, the chopping down of trees and other subjects. This blog is not a political blog by any means, but it is about what goes through my head and life and right now these are things that concern me.
I also want to thank you for the great response to my revamped shopping site. Your remarks and suggestions have been so valuable to us.
Have a great day!

Yippeeee, you got your prize! It made great time! Glad you enjoyed it. Am especially pleased the chocolate was dug into first...I gotta tell you having the bars waiting to packaged up and sent off to my winners was a pretty good test of my self control...which is why my other winners didn't get chocolate...
Oh I kid, they got it too....I'm not that bad.......

Hi Ginny,
Very glad to know that you liked the goodies. I am getting ready to mail the next one. I know it takes about 15 days for the mail to get to you. Priya
