Things that make me happy today:
1. Going to the school fair
2. Helping on the kids craft stall.
3. Beautiful spring sunshine.
4. Kids in bed early after a busy day.
5. Watching some TV while doing some online orders for workshop supplies.

Enjoyed reading your journal entry too. I know I'm going to suffer the same fate too. I need to learn how to relax, but there's just so many good things to do in life! But relaxing is one of those good things. Which is why I made this quote into a stamp: 'To lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summers day, listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is by no means a waste of time' - Sir John Lubbock.

What makes me happy today? Being HOME! We just got back from 3 days of being in Springfield, OHIO! We went to the Antique Extravagaza there. It was lots of walking and more walking! But lots of fun.

We were told that many people there were without electicity from Ike. We actually were staying in Buck Creek State Park and had to leave because on the second day there they no longer had water.

Ohio is truly beautiful!

Now i need to get busy and send you in a submission for your empty mailbox!

What makes me happy today? It's my daughters birthday. Finding out that my Husband does not have to go to Iraq next week and having a nice comment from you on my blog. Thanks!

What makes me happy? Being back home after two weeks of evacuation following Gustav! I stayed for 5 days with no power, traffic lights, grocery stores, etc. - then hightailed it to Pensacola at the invite of a dear friend - but it's good to be back - now to get life back to normal - by the way - you will LOVE The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society - what a wonderful book - it's become one of the tops on my favorites list - I hope she writes another one soon!

have been thinking about you and hoping you weren't hit too hard by Ike...
things that make me happy? my son getting his cast off and being able to move his arm without pain!
