Brian Kasstle sent me this wonderful Halloween card to the Empty Mailbox . Thank you! I check the PO Box every day, being the optimist that I am. I was surprised and delighted to see something fun and creative inside today. Brian used Stampers Anonymous stamps from the Tim Holtz collection. Brian, can you comment below and tell us how you got the wonderful glimmery effect?
Have you seen this? You can make your favorite (or least favorite) candidate into a finger puppet.
Just print out the template on the site and make them act out whatever scenario you hope for.
Speaking of candidates, my friend Mike Meador sent this fun video to me. Go check it out. It can be customized to send to all your friends to remind them to vote. I wanted to add the video here, but couldn't figure out how to do it. Oh, to be computer savvy!
If you have nothing else to do, maybe you would like to go browse our shop over at Small Studio Productions.
that video's BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!! (guffawing loudly and preparing to send to everyone i know!!!!!!!!)
thanks!

That video was so funny!!! I love when serious topics have humor interjected into them. I think it helps alleviate the *weight* of the serious topic. Plus a good belly laugh is better than even coffee...there I said it. Wait I take it back, coffeee coffeeeeeee.
The Halloween card is gorgeous, especially love the tree. Is that a hand painted tree? I was painting trees the other night but they were no where near that nice!
As always I love the variety your blog offers so often. :)

Hi there! Fabulous to see my card up there!
I basically followed Tim Holtz March Tecnique Challenge you can find it here:
http://timholtz.typepad.com/my_weblog/3_march_technique_challenge/
First I stamped the card with Stazon opaque Cotton white, which acted as a mask for the birds, later when I mixed Tim Holtz distress Inks and the awesome Ranger Perfect Pearls! You can certainly get some inky fingers doing this technique!
When I saw it on Tim's website in March I knew it was perfect for Holloween!
Again thanks for posting my card! Happy Holloween!

PS both the birds and the tree are Tim Holtz stamps!
I stamped the tree after I spritzed the Distress Ink/Perfect Pearls mixture on and let it dried it with a heat tool!
