Kelly Kilmer blogged about decorative tape a few weeks ago and I was intrigued. Kelly is a very dedicated blogger who almost daily shares her journal pages, reviews products and books and earns her living by teaching colorful and artful classes at stores and retreats all over the country, but mostly in Los Angeles. Back to the tapes. I looked at all the links she offered that sell tapes and managed to only order from one of them. I chose some tapes from Tapeswell. They are good quality and so much fun to play with, besides they come in cool cannisters.
Here are the tapes. I know this isn't the best photo, but you can see some of the tapes. The guy tape is just so creepy and cool. The labels are just useful and pretty and the damask tape is great for hiding messy bits. Kelly said she had an addiction to these decorative tapes. Not a difficult disease to catch.
I haven't seen many decorative tapes in any of the store I frequent. Have you?
I also received in the mail some wonderful and silky vintage rolls of seam binding. I will be putting them up on my etsy shop tomorrow, I think. I can't decide quite how to present it and in what quantities. I will have to think on that.
Thank you everyone for leaving all the kind and thoughtful and funny comments. I love each and every one of them!
I LOVE the shot of them in the wire basket!!!
