I issued a challenge a week or so ago. I was discussing mail art and said send me something and I will send something back. Today when I checked my PO box I had not one but two fun pieces of mail.
The orange envelope is from Pat Pleacher (see her blog on the sidebar). Great calligraphy work, Pat!~ and I like the little hand with a string attached to the postage stamp. The greenish envelope has no name. Please let me know who it is from. You can e-mail me at ginny@smallstudioproductions.com. She used an interesting background technique with rubber stamps, lots of rubber stamps.
The backs are as fun as the fronts. The PO people loved that Pat sent them greetings. Thank you and I will get right on your return missives.
Our first instructor for the 2910 workshop series is Pam Sussman. She chose a very clever way to announce it on her blog. Those of you who attended Art Continuum will appreciate the references.Go here to read it for a good chuckle.
Oh, Ginny,
Those are so cool and fun.
Some day I'll find the time to send you one.
'til then I will continue to enjoy your blog.
xoxo

Hey Ginty! I've been so far away from a computer for the last 6 weeks or so that I haven't been keeping up with blogs (or facebook). I saw on Pam's blog before yours about the workshops! That is so exciting and I'm thrilled that you were able to make that happen! Can't wait to take Pam's weekender! And I'm sure John is thrilled that it didn't involve opening a new store!

Ginny,
I am so excited for the workshops. Hoping the dates
will be good for me to attend. In the meantime-I'm going to do a workshop at at an apalca farm in
Seville, Ohio the weekend after Thanksgiving. Felting.
I'll report afterward.

Glad the orange envelope got there okay. It looks like "the hand" made the bar code machine have a hiccup of some kind! All's well that ends well though!
