I love Mike Meador. He makes the coolest stuff and he treats his friends so well. Today in the mail I received a custom stencil that Mike made for us.
It is a whopping 18" square. In just a few minutes, maybe about 15 minutes, I used this stencil to make this:
In fact, in that same 15 minutes, I did all of these:
Stenciling is so fast, so easy and nary a mess in the procedure. These are the display cases for our show booth. You are looking at the backs of the cases. Tomorrow I start filling them with product for the Artiscape show in Columbus. We have been busy packaging product, making product, shopping for product and generally trying to anticipate your wants and "needs".
We will have lots of interesting things both new and vintage. Yes, we sacrificed so much time just for YOU shopping at all of our favorite vintage shops. Plus we have been making art to offer at the art show there on Sunday. I hope you will all come and say hello to John and to me. Mike of Coffee Break Design also has tons of new fun things for their booth at Artiscape. Tell him Ginny sent you.
Mike also sent us these cool new gears, laser cut out of Masonite, and so much fun to play with.
John wasted no time using the largest of the five that come in the pack, for his work in progress.
He insisted that "she" needed a bellybutton.
My webgirl, Amy, has promised to have our new product up by the end of the weekend.
Just a reminder that we are expecting you at at least one of the Small Studio Workshops here in Avon Lake OH, on the shores of Lake Erie, this summer and Fall. Sign up soon.
