Yesterday:
I was moping around all day, sad because I wanted to be in Indiana among my friends on this day.
Then I noticed a package on the front porch. It was from my friend Judi Delgado. Well, I have received a package or three from Judi, so I know I need to grab my camera and then try not to get so excited that I forget to take pictures.
I love getting packages, especially unexpected packages, especially decorated on the outside packages.
Inside were some goodies like postcards and notes.
And cool papers and a wrapped parcel
Inside the wrapped parcel was more wrapping. I got excited and forgot to photo, but this wrapping had a cool black cord with beaded ends and a little, colorful pouch containing a variety of fives. The fives are sitting on a wonderful buggy paper, just one of the bunch of Halloween themed papers, Judi sent. I am getting happier.
Inside this parcel the objects were wrapped in vintage newspapers. Now where would Judi get this?
Here is what was in the parcel Note that she sent Halloween York mints. I love York Mints. They are my favorite candy. Apparently John loves York mints too since while I was ooohhing and aaahhhing over the package, John was eating the York mints Judi had scattered into the box.
Aren't they cool? Numbered plates. I love odd plates and I love numbers. Just perfect. What? You ask. Why just #2 and #4? Well, a few months ago I blogged about New York artist John Derien's new collection for Target. Judi commented back that she liked these plates from Target better. So, I scooted off to my local Target but all they had was #1 and #3 which I bought thinking I would do something with them. But now Judi has come to the rescue, in spite of being on crutches and having to hobble to the PO and now I have this:
Thank you, Judi. This was a great surprise and so much fun to open. too. Check out Judi's blog for a wonderful insight to how a really loving and close family honors their parents.
Love to Chris and Andy.
How sweet!!!

Well, you just make me feel better than a pack o' fleas on an old dawg... :-) or something like that! Glad you liked everything! And that the plates didn't break!
