We just returned from dropping Lynne Perrella off at the airport. What a great weekend we had in her workshops. Lynne is a very encouraging and giving instructor and everyone walked away with new knowledge and great inspiration.
This was the last workshop of the 2010 Small Studio Workshop Series that John and I organized. All of the instructors were just wonderful and we learned so much that we feel as if our heads are spinning with ideas and new techniques to explore over the winter months. Thank you to all of the instructors and the students for allowing us to have such a successful series of events.
I will talk more about the possibility of a 2011 Workshop series later, but in the meantime enjoy just a small sampling of what the class accomplished. The "banners" were quite large and difficult to photograph, so the following are the photos that came out somewhat good, although they do not do justice to artwork.
Wow! I thought about the week end classes and wish I could have been there. Those banners are really fantastic.
