Red & White China

You know how sometimes you get totally wrapped up in one look or one thing? That has happened to me with red and white dishes.

I have always been drawn to things red. We have red walls in our family room. Our bedroom and dining room are both red and white with a bit of pale green thrown in for good measure. But currently it is red and white china.

It is easy to find pictures online, but more difficult to find in person or to purchase.

I own red plates and I own white plates, but red and white, I have only a few.

I particularly like to layer my plates and patterns. Green looks great and so does black layered mats or chargers with red. Plates have always been a weakness of mine. It is what I bring home from trips as "souvenirs".

I'm hooked on too many things to list them all here:} But mostly blue things--sapphire blue Fire King bowls, blue & white porcelain dogs, metal & wood numbers & letters, aqua & turquoise, mint green.....

Love your red and white --my sister likes it too! She has the Pink Castles Johnson Brother dishes that she mixes with her Mikasa French Countryside cream colored plates.

I am so with you on red and white china, tho I have none. sniff sniff. I saw a French store that had the whole 9 yards but knew I really had no room for their goodies.

I collect food on a trip...what I can't bring back, I eat!

oh those are gorgeous! My kitchen will be red, aqua and white (someday!) I love the old red/white buffalo restaurant ware but its hard to find too!
