I love the unexpected. This past week or two there have been many unexpected kindnesses here at Small Studio.
I have reordered Gelli plates many times over the past year and today I received six aprons from Gelli Arts to use in the classroom. Such a nice thing to do. We love playing with the Gelli Plates in our classroom and we love being messy. Thank you. The other day, one of my regular customers brought me a Pepsi in the middle of the day which was very nice. Last week three ladies came in, former college friends who were having a girls weekend. None of them lived in Ohio, but decided that Cleveland was their halfway point. Somehow they found their way to my store and spent over an hour talking, laughing and shopping. Then they went to Panera's for lunch. An hour later, they surprised me with a bag of Panera's food and a mocha. Later that day a local restaurant came by with a free subway type sandwich. That was my food gift week. It really never happens so it is fun when it does. The store has also been remembered by quite a few customers with Christmas cards. I am really touched by these kindnesses. Thank you to everyone.
In 2014 our workshop series so far has confirmed Lynne Perrella, Tory Brokenshire and Dan Essig. These workshops look dynamite. Information will be on our web sometime in January-February. Sign up early to insure that the classes are not cancelled.
